Salary up to £60k based on experience + 5k car allowance ( Remote role )

Our client a high end globally located toy company for children and adults with offices in Denmark ,Germany and US is looking for its first UK based employee .

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will manage existing relationships at over 200 stores /wholesalers located around the UK. As well as looking at new business opportunities to develop our client's collections and brand.

Key Responsibilities include

• Develop and oversee our clients wholesale business in the UK
• Maintain close dialogue with wholesalers so they can represent our client in the best way via regular visits and online
• Ensure our client is represented in all relevant stores in the UK
• Participate in relevant trade shows
• Look at potential business development opportunities to grow our client's collections and brand
• Liaise with overseas sales/marketing colleagues where applicable to grow sales and brand awareness internationally

Key experience and skills needed for the role

• Must have a strong account management and business development background
• Experience in the Toy & Hobby sector would be advantageous
• Have a commercially international mind-set
• Be proactive ,structured and organised
• Self motivated and a team player
• Having an interest in design would be desirable
• Understanding of a P&L
