Head of Operational Procurement
Location: Cambridgeshire, working from home with a couple of days in the office per month

• Lead and support a team of buyers
• Streamline procurement processes and strategies
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Monitor supplier performance and provide insights for improvement
• Contribute to data analysis and risk management
• Ensure accurate and professional purchase order processing

The ideal candidate will be:

• Proficient in sourcing, negotiation, and leadership
• Familiarity with procurement principles and practices
• Demonstrated achievements in procurement/purchasing
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Effective time management and goal-oriented focus
• Resilience, adaptability, and attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solving abilities
• Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP4Hana
• A degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous
