£35,000 - £45,000/annum

Our client, a leading wine & spirits business has an exciting opportunity for a Product Developer to apply their creative design skills in developing the Gifting product range and presenting these products to their key accounts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Use appropriate software to design and translate conceptual ideas into feasible product prototypes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, to support promoting products to customers, and integrating new products into the portfolio.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to stay ahead in the gifting landscape.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and identify potential new products to include in the portfolio.
  • Develop strong working relations with suppliers and key accounts.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality products and negotiate favourable terms and promote these to the key accounts.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality control and sustainability standards for all gifting products.

Candidate requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification is preferable.
  • Product design or development experience within the wine & spirits, food, drinks, or luxury retail industry.
  • Technical skills in design software or packaging.
  • An all-rounder who is both creative and commercially oriented.
  • Experience in managing relationships with major high-end accounts.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour within the luxury food and drink sector

Salary will be circa £35K to £45K + 10% Bonus.

25 leave days + 8 bank holidays

The role will be based in the Hertfordshire area.
