Are you an established Account Manager looking for a new challenge?

We are partnered with an established publishing company who are looking for an Account Manager to manage there online presents. You will play a key role in driving growth and increasing the visibility of our catalogue of products across various platforms, including e-commerce giants like Amazon and Shopify.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm - (hybrid considered)

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Troubleshoot and chase listings directly with distributors to resolve issues.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our presence on e-commerce platforms, including managing Amazon seller accounts and leveraging Shopify capabilities.
  • Proposing, agreeing, and implementing promotions on products and having client's interests in mind.
  • Troubleshooting issues with Shopify as and when they impact product listings
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth on boarding processes for new titles and optimise listing performance.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas and develop strategies to capitalise on them.
  • Actively engage in sales efforts, including pitching our services to potential partners and negotiating agreements.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to partnership performance and use data-driven insights to drive decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve our partnership approach

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the publishing industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon and Shopify, with experience managing seller accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Perseverance and drive to achieve success.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated track record of driving growth and exceeding targets.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
