POST Recruitment are recruiting an Ecommerce Director for a thriving Leeds based success story, if you're proven within a £30m+ eCom business and are looking for an incredibly well backed, yet autonomous director level role this is the one you've been waiting for....

First things first, this is a hybrid role, you will be part of the leadership team and in the office 2/3 days per week, leading, collaborating and mentoring a wider team. The client will not consider a fully remote candidate.

Duties will include

• Actively driving business strategy, planning and decision making within the Leadership function.
• Lead and manage the Ecommerce function in line with the brand values across a number of disciplines to include Digital Marketing & Media, particularly PPC and Paid Social; Customer Activation & Acquisition; Marketing Communications; PR & Social; Product Management; Web Merchandising; UX & CRO, SEO & Content; Data, Analytics & Insight.
• Build a strong commercial plan to deliver, track and report against all business KPI’s.
• Management of marketing budget across all channels, with regular engagement with finance teams.
• Budget management, forecasting and reporting to senior team
• Optimise the commercial plan to respond to market, customer and business needs.
• Build an optimised channel strategy to deliver strong growth ambitions and business objectives.
• Develop working practises that strive for constant efficiency and optimisation to deliver best ROI.
• Identity areas of opportunity and risk with solutions to address. Manage execution through others.
• Provide the business with accurate reporting, actionable insight and robust recommendations.
• Lead the recommendations on tools and techniques to improve business performance.
• Deliver a balance of transformation and transactional output in line with business needs.
• Provide market and competitor insight to develop business thinking and decision making.
• Build a high performing team through strong leadership and management principles.
• Improve performance management through regular feedback and talent enhancement processes.

Technical Skills and Experience
• 10 years+ experience in Digital Marketing with at least 5 years in Direct Response channels
• 5 years+ experience in Customer Marketing, strong in campaign strategy, planning and initiation
• Expert in digital customer acquisition and activation strategies.
• Paid social, Google, SEO,
• Strong understanding of Brand, PR & Social Media marketing, experience in managing this function would be beneficial
• Strong analytical skills to include budgeting and forecasting in a high paced retail environment
• Hands on experience using digital analytics tools and good understanding of market software
• Advanced excel skills, comfortable with importing and joining data and using pivot tables.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, communication & presentation skills
• Proven track record in talent development and building high performing teams
• Innovation and leading edge technical marketing experience in the digital arena
• Key is relationship building across group and the industry
