🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure contracts and identify growth opportunities.

• Track and interpret trends across steel, fabrication, and freight markets to guide strategic procurement and reduce risk.

• Use data analysis to uncover customer patterns and market shifts, driving smarter decision-making.

• Tackle import supply issues, engaging with stakeholders to troubleshoot problems and implement timely solutions.

• Liaise with freight, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline import operations and reduce lead times.

• Help drive innovation across departments – from sales to production – identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.

• Support the rollout of new processes, ensuring smooth implementation and integration.

• Collaborate with managers across the business to identify pain points and lead the charge in continuous improvement.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, SUM, data consolidation) – essential for smart, informed decisions.

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields – desirable but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical mindset – you’re someone who naturally weighs pros and cons and sees how things can be improved.

• Confident communicator – comfortable working across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.

• Self-starter attitude – you don’t wait for problems to come to you; you go find them and solve them.

• Solid planning and leadership skills – you know how to prioritize and organize.

• Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts – a plus!
