Senior Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager Role:
* Develop, workshop, agree and implement the Procurement Strategy.
* Delivery of a structured industry standard SRM programme with key suppliers to maximise engagement, support, performance and value.
* Leadership and management of all estate's procurement, commercial and contract management activity.
* Leading the delivery and evaluation of Procurement Events for Showcases and Regional Centres.
* Working with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of a commercial procurement service.
* Understanding commercial partnering and playing a leading role in it where appropriate.
* Support development of prequalification and RFP documents, evaluating all bids and partnership opportunities and the subsequent award of contracts.
* Create tools for key vendor performance measurement and provide regular reports
Procurement Manager Experience:
* Procurement professional with proven track record in construction/consultancy and fitting out.
* Possesses excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of the construction and fit out supplier market place.
* Provide cost forecasting advice for generating budgets.
* Creates strategic plans, organising and scheduling events and delivering to plan.
* Track record of identifying opportunities and delivering added value through procurement.
* Creates an environment of effective team working and collaboration within a matrix environment.
* An expert in the procurement of hard facilities management and general building.
Due to the location of internal and external stakeholders, the ideal candidate will need to be comfortable with considerable travel to London.
