Indirect Procurement Manager

You will be a proven Procurement professional across all indirect categories, with a track record of identifying opportunities for reducing costs of products and services through supplier selection, central purchasing agreements, and monitoring of supplier performance.
The company is looking for someone who can adopt a very flexible approach to ensure the procurement department interacts effectively with all departments, getting their buy-in to the future strategy.
Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
* Identify areas where the company can leverage its overall purchasing power through centralised purchasing agreements
* Monitor supplier performance and benchmark against alternative supply sources
* Manage tenders, purchase agreement negotiation, and all associated paperwork
* Work closely with internal customers to ensure we have the right supplier base and purchasing agreements
* Visit suppliers as and when required
* Monitor internal customer satisfaction and continually seek ways to improve the service
* Monitor, review, and update operational systems and procedures
Procurement Manager Candidate:
* Proven procurement track record with indirect categories or professional services.
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Strong management skills
* Ideally MCIPS or equivalent
