We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work Days for a food production company based in Trafford Park. This is long term ongoing role!
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Hours: 4 ON, 2 OFF mainly working 8am-4.30pm however flexibility is required for starts between 8am-11am working 8.5 hour shifts – must be able to work weekends
As Warehouse Operative you will be working within assigned areas under the direction of the Flow Coordinators and Team Leaders who will ensure work is completed to required standards in a timely manner meeting operational objectives and targets.

As Warehouse Operative you will be working within assigned areas under the direction of the Flow Coordinators and Team Leaders who will ensure work is completed to required standards in a timely manner meeting operational objectives and targets.
Your main duties as a Warehouse Operative could be any of the following:
- Pick and pack food for tray liners based on written specification
- Conduct temperature, quality, and product date checks.
- Seal flight canisters, trolleys and record numbers
- Ensure correct marshalling of flights to Dispatch bays in assigned stowing order
- General washing, sorting, assembling, packing and positioning of the aircraft equipment
- Process and strip trolleys and deliver to relevant department
- Off loading and sorting equipment/food and ensuring it is delivered to the correct processing area
- The receipt, handling and appropriate storage of all incoming goods and coordinating / managing stock.
- Sort and assemble bars into flights, working as a team to achieve targets
- To check trolley seals and cross check with customs paper work
- To load / off-load lorries, stack shelves and replenish equipment/food items
- From specification, accurately palletize shipments
- Conduct quality, and product date checks
- Daily stock count of the list
- Stock rotation
We are really keen to hear from applicant with the following skills and experience:
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, stores or production experience from within a fast paced, target driven environment
- Food hygiene, security, H&S experience
- Ability to work within a cold environment
- Flexible to rotate through different departments/units as reasonably required.
- Ability to cover a 7-day operation including weekends
- Basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferable
- Numerate and literate
- Good communication skills in English
