JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Volvo MOT Tester and Tyre Fitter is to:
Undertake Class IV MOT tests to the government standards.
To carry out fitting of tyres to manufacturer standards.
To carry out such work in a safe and economical manner.

Aftersales Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines
To ensure vehicle tyres are fitted to manufacturer specification and thoroughly examined with any problems reported to the Service/Aftersales Manager.
Maximise tyre and steering alignment sales opportunities.
Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are always maintained including the use of special and personal tools.
Skills & Requirements
Essential
Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
Manufacturer tyre fitting training
Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
Good organisational and planning skills.
Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
Energy and enthusiasm.
Full UK driving licence.
Smart appearance.
Experience
Desirable
Relevant manufacturer experience.
