We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Furniture Home Delivery service based in Cumbernauld as a 7.5ton Driver, working 4 shifts a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their career with Temp-Perm Potential.

7.5ton Delivery Driver

• Days £13.00ph, Overtime £19.50ph after 48 hours weekly

• 4 day working week, 4 from 6 inc Sat when required

• Starts between 04:30-06:30 approx 10-12 hour shifts

• 2 man teams

• Ongoing work – Inductions 9th & 10th April

• Potential temp to Perm for the right candidate

7.5ton Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Delivery & Installing Furniture – Heavy Manual Lifting required. 

• Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab. 

• Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving. 

 Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position

• Great work ethic. 

• Minimum 3 months 7.5ton driving experience. 

• Must have a completed DBS Check prior to starting work. 

• Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card. 

• Comfortable with heavy lifting as part of 2 man teams.

• Be professional and presentable at all times.

• Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

• Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.

• No IN10, TT99 or DR10.
