Are you looking for a role working Monday to Friday for a leading non-food retail company, travelling to stores and merchandising stock?

This dual role will see you merchandising our client's stores with non-food products for part of the week with the rest of the week being located in our warehouse.

Field-based Merchandiser duties include:

• Picking and loading your van with merchandising products
• Travelling to various sites within a selected area
• Merchandising non-food items in retail shops
• Gaining extra sales space to promote our products within the store

A key member of the warehouse, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for all material movements within the warehouse, including unloading and loading vehicles and moving stock around the warehouse.

Diligent and organised, the Warehouse Operative will contribute to a positive culture within the warehouse and ensure all material moves are carried out in the safest, most efficient and most productive manner.

Warehouse Operative duties include:

• Take delivery of goods and supplies
• Check for damaged or missing items
• Store goods appropriately
• Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck (if qualified to do so)
• Load goods on the vans ready for dispatch
• Input data regarding stock and inventory into a system
• Keep accurate stock records
• Carry out stock counts as and when required
• Keep paperwork up to date
• Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and the safety of others
• Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
• Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
• Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
