I have a role with a leader FMCG company based in Glasgow, who are looking to bring on a Health, Safety and Environment Manager.


This is a very exciting role, in a very successful business where you can truly make your mark in a business that is experiencing double digit growth year on year. 

Responsibility:
•    Provide directional support for planning, measuring, reviewing, and auditing Health & Safety and Environmental activities.
•    Embed a continuous improvement and positive safety culture.

Duties:
•    Develop and maintain site management systems, procedures, and protocols.
•    Support Site Management Teams in delivering a consistent H&S program.
•    Review and develop Health & Safety policies, ensuring implementation.
•    Proactively work with managers to establish and maintain continuous improvement in H&S.
•    Maintain rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems.
•    Provide comprehensive information and training on Health & Safety systems.
•    Drive environmental initiatives and manage the site Environmental Policy.
•    Skills & Experience.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry with strategic planning and development of safety cultures. 

Knowledge of HSE standards and frameworks, as well related degree or NEBOSH qualification is desirable. 

Hours: 
•    Mon – Thur 8am – 4.30PM 
•    Fri 8am – 4PM

Package 
Salary: £45K-50K + Benefits package
