Print Designer - Women's Jersey Shape, Licensed Graphics

London / Full-time / Permanent

Unlimited holiday + flex hours + bonus

A leading fashion retailer is looking for a Women's Print Designer with experience in Licensed Graphics and Jersey based clothing, to join their growing wholesale team with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Prior experience working with Licensed product (Disney/Warner Brothers/Mattel) is desirable.

Print Designer Responsibilities:

  • Working with major retailers to design and develop licensed clothing focusing on jersey and nightwear.
  • Developing unique and creative ranges from initial mood board to final product.
  • Drawing up CADs predominately via Adobe Illustrator and then turning these into functional and technical design packs to be sent off to suppliers to be made.
  • Liaising closely with suppliers in India, ensuring products are developed correctly.
  • Taking ownership of your accounts and working efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Keeping a critical path and tracking/monitoring product development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in a design role ideally at a brand/retailer.
  • Essential to have strong women's print and licensed graphic design skills.
  • A motivated team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and happy to work across different product categories
  • Experienced in Adobe packages with a strong emphasis on Illustrator.
