As a Merch Assistant for this multichannel retailer, you play an integral part, working closely with the merchandising team to ensure they have the right product, at the right time, in the right place. You will work closely with the buying team to plan & build ranges, taking control of stock levels to maximise profit for the business.

THE ROLE:

• Analysing the best and worst sellers for your department & reporting data
• Ensuring the critical path is managed and up to date to guarantee stock is delivered on time and processed efficiently.
• Collaborating closely with the buying team to support intake.
• Responsible for creating and amending all purchase orders.
• Action re-pricing and markdown changes.
• Changes to supplier revised delivery dates.
• Building relationships with suppliers.

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in retail Merchandising
• Loves working with numbers & data.
• Analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems.
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident Microsoft Excel skills and enjoy looking at spreadsheets.
• Passionate about having an impact on product performance.
• Strong team player and is confident with liaising with different people across the business.
• Ambitious and driven to develop a career in merchandising.
• Confident working in a fast pace environment.
• Team player - with a sense of humour!
