Position Title: Parts Advisor/Sales

Location: Shepshed

Type: Full-Time / Permanent (8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)

Our client is a parts manufacturer for the commercial vehicle sector and they are looking someone with a background in parts sales to process orders and deliver a first class customer service and experience to their clients.

The main responsibilities are:

• Offering technical parts support
• Parts identification
• Processing orders
• Upselling parts with each sales

With progression in mind and over time, the role will transition to a field based sales role where you will build and manage relationships with the distributors across the UK.

• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Confident with sales techniques and upselling opportunities
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficient in the use of CRM/order processing systems and Microsoft Office

Other Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (essential for future field role)
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally (post-training phase)
• Enthusiasm for learning and career progression within a technical sales environment

Career Path / Development Opportunities:

• The role is designed to evolve from a desk-based technical sales position into a field-based commercial sales role within 12–18 months (subject to performance and business needs).
• A candidate at an early stage within their career in the parts sector will benefit this role as ongoing product and sales training will be provided to support progression for a long term career with the client.

Salary:

Salary – Between £26K - £30K depending on experience
