As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a key role in managing our supplier accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. Our client is a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence and efficiency in all areas of their business. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team.
Description
Processing and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Preparing and processing payments to suppliers
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records
Assisting with month-end financial reporting and audits
Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal teams
Supporting the finance team with other ad hoc tasks as required
Profile
Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role preferred
Strong numerical and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Offer
Competitive salary between £30,000 and £32,000
