As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a key role in managing our supplier accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a busy finance department.

Our client is a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence and efficiency in all areas of their business. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team.

Description

  • Processing and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

  • Preparing and processing payments to suppliers

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records

  • Assisting with month-end financial reporting and audits

  • Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal teams

  • Supporting the finance team with other ad hoc tasks as required

Profile

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role preferred

  • Strong numerical and organisational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
