Your new role
As a key member of the Procurement & Supply Chain delivery team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex public sector procurement strategies-primarily within the defence sector. You'll contribute to a flagship £2bn programme, while also supporting a portfolio of smaller, strategically important projects across the full procurement lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end procurement activities for high-value public sector contracts
• Develop and implement commercial strategies and market engagement plans
• Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to ensure alignment and compliance
• Provide expert guidance on procurement regulations, particularly PA23
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team

What you'll need to succeed

• Security Clearance (SC) - Essential due to project sensitivity and timelines
• Proven experience managing complex public procurements, ideally in defence
• Strong understanding of public procurement regulations (PA23); TTP training is a plus
• Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
