We are pleased to be working with a leading retail organisation to recruit a new Divisional Health and Safety Manager to their growing fleet services team. This is a great opportunity to lead Health and Safety for the department in an active and collaborative way.

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, you will be managing the a team of five, with a combination of home working and visiting national sites to support the team.

As a key leader within the operation, you will drive a forward-thinking and positive safety culture by collaborating with senior leadership, shaping a clear vision for improvement, and providing strategic oversight of safety performance.

As Divisional Health and Safety Manager, you will:
  • Work alongside management to deliver the Health and Safety strategy across the commercial fleet services division
  • Provide visible and engaging leadership on sites to champion a positive safety culture
  • Develop and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Manage a team of five Health and Safety Advisors within the commercial fleet services team
  • Support Health and Safety Advisors in investigations and audits where required
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Apply for this role if you have:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification as a minimum
  • The skills and experience to manage a team of Health and Safety Advisors
  • Experience in highways, automotive, logistics, or similar industrial business is highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with LOLER and PUWER regulations
