Graduate Procurement Opportunity - Fresh Produce Sector

Do you have a passion for building strong relationships and want to kickstart your career in procurement within a supportive and collaborative environment?

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join a specialist team in the Fresh Produce sector. You will be working alongside experienced colleagues, suppliers, and customers to help drive long-term business success. As a Graduate Procurement Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement team’s day-to-day operations while developing your commercial and strategic skills in a hands-on environment.

Graduate Procurement Executive Key Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement team in building and maintaining strong, transparent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with pricing, product availability, quality control, and cost management
  • Help coordinate international sourcing activities across multiple product categories
  • Take part in supplier performance tracking, reviews, and occasional site visits
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and procurement best practices
  • Work closely with senior team members on strategic procurement initiatives

Graduate Procurement Executive Key Requirements

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
  • Previous experience, including a placement year in Fresh Food, FMCG, or Fresh Produce sectors, in a procurement, buying, or supply chain environment
  • A genuine interest in procurement, Fresh Produce, Food, or fast-paced commercial environments
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic team setting
  • Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of Excel
