As a Junior Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement team’s day-to-day operations while developing your commercial and strategic skills.
Junior Procurement Manager Key Responsibilities
- Support the procurement team in building and maintaining strong, transparent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Assist in managing pricing, quality, product availability, and cost controls
- Help coordinate international sourcing activities across multiple product categories
- Take part in supplier reviews, performance tracking, and occasional visits
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes
- Work alongside senior team members on strategic procurement planning
Junior Procurement Manager Key Requirements
- Enthusiastic, team-focused, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in procurement, fresh produce, or fast-paced commercial environments
- Background or familiarity with Fresh Food, FMCG, or Fresh Produce environments would be a strong advantage
- Organised, proactive, and keen to develop within a dynamic procurement team
- Some experience or understanding of buying, sourcing, or supply chain functions (entry-level or early career welcome)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields
