Are you a proactive and detail-driven Buyer with a passion for driving procurement excellence? We're working with a well-established and fast-growing manufacturing business in Fife that’s looking for an experienced Buyer to join their team and play a vital role in their operational success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing end-to-end purchase order execution and logistics coordination to support on-time project delivery
  • Monitoring supplier performance and working closely with vendors to drive improvements in cost, quality, and lead times
  • Supporting inventory control and customer satisfaction goals
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve issues throughout the purchasing lifecycle
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining procurement records and reporting against KPIs
  • Using ERP system and Excel-based job costing tools to expedite orders and manage documentation

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a procurement or buying role within a manufacturing or project-based environment
  • Strong understanding of procurement procedures and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business software
  • A team player who can also work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced setting
