Supply Chain Officer

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Officer to join their client's team in Broughton, Chester. You will play a pivotal role in driving supplier performance across the end-to-end supply chain in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The successful Supply Chain Officer will manage a portfolio of suppliers in support of all the company's specialist programmes. This role involves daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitisation means, anticipating risks, and driving mitigation actions. The Supply Chain Officer will also be responsible for demand and forecast control, effective communication with internal customers, team colleagues, and external suppliers, as well as supply chain prioritisation and leading supplier recoveries.

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should have solid experience in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering. Experience in the use and deployment of digital solutions/tools, MRP expertise, and experience of SAP in a manufacturing environment are highly desirable. The successful candidate should also possess strong problem-solving skills, a good team-working ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
