They're looking for a Category Executive to support the growth and maintenance of this dynamic category. If you’re a detail-oriented, commercially driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Category Executive, you will:
✅ Support category development – Ensure the catering supplies range is up-to-date, competitive, and aligned with market trends.
✅ Coordinate new product launches – Work with suppliers, marketing, and sales teams to maximise exposure and sales opportunities.
✅ Optimise product performance – Identify slow/zero-selling products and implement action plans to drive sales or exit stock effectively.
✅ Maintain product data accuracy – Ensure all product details (barcodes, descriptions, supplier codes) are current and correct in the systems.
✅ Resolve supplier & finance queries – Work closely with buyers and finance teams to ensure seamless supplier transactions and issue resolution.
✅ Analyse commodity price trends – Monitor pricing movements to support commercial decision-making.

What They're Looking For

They need someone who is:
✔ Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
✔ Commercially aware with an understanding of market trends and supplier management.
✔ A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively across departments.
✔ Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
✔ Experienced in category management or a related field (ideally within catering supplies, foodservice, or FMCG).

Familiarity with Mintec for commodity price tracking and experience in managing cross-functional relationships is a plus!
