We are looking for a Senior Group Tax Manager to oversee the direct tax affairs of our client’s organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply tax expertise across a dynamic and fast-moving business, working closely with senior management to influence significant commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing UK corporation tax compliance for all group entities
• Researching and advising on tax-related queries, both UK and international
• Assessing tax implications of business transactions and strategic decisions
• Liaising with HMRC specialists and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Overseeing global tax obligations, including transfer pricing and Pillar 2 reporting
• Collaborating with key internal teams (Finance, Legal, Property, Payroll)
• Leading and developing junior tax team members, fostering their professional growth

The Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience in UK tax, ideally within a commercially focused organisation
• A recognised tax or accounting qualification
• Experience within FTSE-listed and/or retail organisations (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• A proactive leader who leads by example and sets high professional standards
• Adaptable and able to respond to evolving business needs
