We have a great opportunity on the books for r an experienced Head of Supply Chain to oversee procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics of a Global Supplier to the Construction industry. This role ensures material availability, delivery performance, and operational efficiency to support production and customer fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic & Operational Leadership – Develop and implement supply chain strategies, drive performance, and support business goals.
- Procurement & Supplier Management – Manage sourcing, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective, reliable supply.
- Planning & Inventory Management – Oversee S&OP, optimise stock levels, and balance service levels with working capital.
- Logistics & Fulfilment – Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
- Cost & Performance Management – Monitor KPIs, control costs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Development & Collaboration – Lead the supply chain team and work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
The Person
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.
- Minimimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory control, and logistics.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics (MCIPS/APICS preferred).
- Hands-on, analytical, and commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills.
