HR Business Partner (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Zachary Daniels is partnering with a leading big box retailer to recruit a skilled HR Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support their retail estate in South Yorkshire, Nottingham, and Staffordshire

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the people agenda

  • Building strong relationships with managers, providing coaching, support, and constructive challenge-exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

  • Addressing day-to-day HR issues as they arise.

  • Collaborating with the leadership team to drive and support change initiatives.

  • Offering sound, commercial advice on employment, performance management, and talent management.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within retail, with proven expertise as a generalist HR partner.

  • Strong ER experience, with confidence in constructively challenging stakeholders.

  • CIPD qualifications are advantageous.

  • Experience working across both corporate and head office functions.

  • Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.

  • Strong influencing skills and a passion for embedding core company values.

  • Solution-oriented, exceptionally well-organized, and an innovative problem solver.

The Package

In return, the business offers a competitive salary of up to £47,000 per annum, plus company bonus and benefits, for the duration of the 9-month fixed-term contract.
