Our client, a leading global apparel business, has an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist to provide support in the selection of suppliers, supplier relationship management, negotiating multiple product categories and securing production capacity.

On offer:
•    Salary will be circa £40 000 + Bonus
•    25 leave days + 8 bank holidays
•    Hybrid remote working (3 days in the office)

Key responsibilities:
•    Negotiate product cost prices with direct ethically compliant suppliers maximising group gross profit.
•    Manage RFIs, RFPs, Invoicing & New Supplier set up including Due Diligence
•    Engaging and managing stakeholders and suppliers
•    Development and implementation of procurement strategies
•    Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives across all categories, conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify areas for improvement.

Candidate requirements:
•    Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent
•    Sourcing or Buying experience in an apparel or fashion retail business.
•    In-depth knowledge and experience of garment and fabric suppliers’ processes and capability.
•    Strong commercial negotiation skills
•    Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
•    Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
