Assistant Buyer responsibilities:
- Assisting with the procurement of materials and products
- Supporting the senior buying team in negotiating best prices
- Monitoring stock levels and forecasting future demand
- Maintaining records of purchasing, pricing and inventory levels
- Assisting with resolving issues related to orders, deliveries and supplier performance
- Expediting purchase requests and maintaining delivery information
Assistant Buyer requirements:
- Basic understanding of procurement processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office programmes
- Good communication and analytic skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Willingness to learn and develop
