My client, one of the largest pathology laboratories in Europe are currently recruiting for a Supplies Distribution Operative to provide high quality, proactive and professional delivery service for the Laboratories Warehouse Team.

Duties include:

• Processing supply order requests from clients and internal network of laboratories by picking and packing supplies.
• Expediting urgent orders, making sure supplies are delivered in full and on time
• Working with the inventory team to ensure supply returns are processed accurately
• Liaising with wards by phone or by email to answer queries whilst providing a great service
• Placing orders for stock and taking receipt of deliveries
• Physically counting and checking stock delivered against delivery note - flagging and troubleshooting any discrepancies, logging of deliveries onto stock management system.
• Management of good-in and goods-out area of the warehouse to ensure deliveries are taken in correctly and accurately
• Ensure general waste and cardboard waste is segregated and discarded weekly
• Supporting other Facilities – from time to time there may be a need to support other Laboratory facilities within the Network of laboratories.
• Ensure that the warehouse is appropriately labelled/ signposted for ease of finding stock
• Ensure all stock areas are kept tidy and free from clutter and maintain temperature control.

To be considered for this role you must possess previous experience in:

• Working in a warehouse environment.
• Stock sorting, counting and location checks.
• Manual Handling.
• Good organisational skills.
• To work accurately, neatly and efficiently. Attention to detail is very important.
• To communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing.
