Butcher Shop Assistant
Hours: 22.5 per week (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 7:00 – 15:00)
Salary: £13,385
Location: Shirehampton High Street, Bristol

About Us

Wood Family Butchers is a family-run butcher shop, now part of a larger food wholesaler Charles Saunders Ltd, with a long-standing tradition of providing high-quality meats and exceptional customer service.

The shop is known for its friendly atmosphere and commitment to excellence. We are looking for a part time Shop Assistant to join the butchery team and help them to supply our customers both retail and wholesale.

About The Position

The successful Shop Assistant will be dedicated and hardworking, to assist both front of house with serving customers and support the Butchers to prepare orders, such as making burgers, and other fresh meat items ready for delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases
• Handling cash and card payments
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop facilities and equipment
• Prepare meat items, such as burgers to ensure orders are ready for customers
• General Assistant activities to ensure that the shop is running smoothly
• Butcher Assistant duties to ensure that meat orders are ready for collection
