Space 8 Recruitment are searching for a dynamic, energetic, Project Manager to join their Birmingham-based client on a flexi time + hybrid basis.

This is a brand new role, reporting into the Head of Product and sitting alongside the Product Manager and another Project Manager.

The Project Manager is responsible for project managing product changes; this will include project managing new product development, changes to products, quality improvement and expansion into other countries.

The role holder will work extensively with Product Management, Brand & Customer Marketing, R&D, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain & Regulatory to deliver projects within the specified time, cost and quality parameters.

The Role:

• Project planning; defining project scope, goals, tasks & resource
• Cross-functional project team management
• Monitoring project progress and taking corrective action if required
• Communicating with all teams engaged in the project
• Aligning with R&D and Product Management to ensure correct planning around project scoping
• Communicating key milestones to the wider Group
• Maintaining project documentation to communicate status, timings, issues & risks

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be a Project Manager or Change Manager currently, ideally within FMCG, but other industries will be considered.
Experience of Project Management within a Product Development environment is preferred.
We are looking for someone who is passionate yet pragmatic, who will strive to achieve Plan A but be ready with a Plan B just-in case.
