What will the role involve?

• Sourcing and purchasing a wide range of engineered parts, components and commodities
• Identifying suitable suppliers and negotiating commercial terms
• Raising POs and expediting part deliveries
• Maintaining and developing value-adding supplier relationships
• Driving cost down initiatives and delivering cost savings to the business

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Previous purchasing experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience buying component parts from engineering drawings / technical specifications
• Confident negotiation and expediting skills
• High attention to detail with good ERP skills
• Passion and ambition to develop your procurement skills and progress your career!
