The Role

Reporting to the General Manager the position is responsible for the following:

• Leading, managing and developing a team of direct reports
• Devising and implementing all instore Visual Merchandising and display, responsible for creating a great shopping experience.
• All day to day operations for the store, ensuring good stock availability, great service and high standards.
• Duty management for the whole site in the GM's absence

The Candidate

The role will appeal to a retail manager with a strong visual and commercial focus. It’s a great position if you are creative, with a flair for Visual Merchandising and an understanding of display principals to enable you to create your own commercial displays. Ideally applicants will also have:

• Management experience within Department or high-end Chain Stores, Garden Centres, or large multi-product retailers where visual standards are paramount.
• A good working knowledge of customer service, general retail operations and the ability to drive commercial performance through people.
