Our client is a dynamic leader in the food and beverage sector, committed to delivering exceptional products and services to customers. They are expanding globally and we are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Business Development & Projects.

Candidates must have experience of working within hospitality - restaurants and QSR experience is highly desirable.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised individual with a strong background in sales and project management to join the Sales and Business Development team. This role will serve as the "glue" between various markets, ensuring alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives across regions.   • Sales & Project Coordination: Act as a key point of contact and ensure smooth communication between the sales and business development teams across multiple markets (Mid EU, Nordic, US, and UK).
  • Target Setting & Follow-Up: Assist in setting sales targets for different regions and markets. Monitor progress and follow up with sales teams to ensure KPIs are being met, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Cross-Market Communication: Maintain consistency in sales strategies and frameworks across all markets. Ensure that best practices and processes are being followed by all regional teams.
  • Weekly Sales Meetings: Participate in weekly calls with the Head of Sales and Business Development, tracking quarterly sales KPIs, documenting opportunities, challenges, and risks, and providing actionable insights.
  • Sales Training Support: Collaborate with the training team to develop and distribute sales training materials globally. Ensure that training content aligns with regional needs and global standards.
  • IT Collaboration: Work closely with the IT department to report and address any challenges or issues related to the app or digital screens in our bars, ensuring smooth functionality and resolving problems promptly.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales performance, risks, and opportunities to the Director of Sales and Business Development, as well as regional sales leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, project management, or a similar role with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to structure and present information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working with sales KPIs, setting targets, and following up on progress.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in working with international or multi-market teams.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate with IT teams on digital or app-related challenges.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the hospitality sector is a prerequisite to be considered.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and cross-market sales strategies.
