My client are a prominent FMCG products supplier and manufacturer based in Gloucester, they currently have a rare but exciting opportunity for a Head of Purchasing to join their team.
The Role
- Implementation of supply chain processes
- SIOP (sales, inventory, operations, planning)
- Supplier management strategy
- Negotiation of supply chain agreements
- Budgets & reporting
- Analysis of buying costs
- Continuous improvement
- Manage & train supply chain team
- Sourcing & Vendor management
The Candidate
- Previous experience in management
- Previous experience in sourcing & procurement
- Understanding of the FMCG market
- Proficient in data interpretation
- Proficient in excel
