Procurement Specialist

Location: MAIDSTONE

Salary: £35,000

Are you an experienced Procurement Specialist looking for a new role?

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be expected to -

• Manage existing supplier relationships
• Identify new supplier relationships
• Maintain compliance with all policies
• Receiving enquiries from the Customer Service Executives and other internal personnel and creating estimates for potential jobs and tenders.
• Raising official Works Orders for production jobs using business management systems.
• Sourcing and Raising of Purchase Orders for any Materials, Consumables, Items and Services required for production jobs
• Internal liaison with our sales, QA, logistics, production, planning and finance departments to collate requisite job information.

The successful candidate will -

• Experience in a procurement role
• Have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work well in a team
