Our client is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of food and beverage outlets, including two restaurants, a Subway, a Starbucks, and two Costa units.

Job Description

In this role, you will manage a team of 40 staff, with dedicated managers and supervisors in each unit to support daily operations.

With an annual turnover of £3.5 million, this position requires a leader with a proven track record in managing large teams and complex operations.

While we welcome candidates from various retail or food service backgrounds, experience in high-volume environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
  • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
  • Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
  • Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning
  • Use IT software programs to record sales figures, analyse data and forward plan to record sales figures, analyse data and forward plan
  • Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews
  • Provide or organise training and development
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Resolve health and safety, legal and security issues
