The Job

First off, you’ll be the project manager. This site is being built and you’ll be involved in all aspects of getting the business ready to trade. You’ll recruit the team of line managers and staff, play an active role in local marketing and have input into product mix and store layout. When ready to open, the site is yours and you’ll essentially take control of everything; total P&L responsibility, setting the tone with regards to service and standards, organising seasonal promotions from the ground up and proposing, setting and managing all short, medium and long-term business objectives. It’s a big job.

The Person

It's obvious, but you’ll be an accomplished all-rounder with a commercial streak a mile wide. You’ll already be thinking of what you could do given the room and are probably frustrated in your current role by the constraints of a more central business. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in a quality, service-driven retailer and, if you understand a bit about hospitality and F&B, we’re opening an onsite restaurant as part of the offer so, even better. Crucial either way is that you’re a confident manager, happy making short-term and strategic decisions, and excited to show what you can do.
