Purchasing Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator with after sales support to join their team in Cookstown, County Tyrone. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing and after-sales to ensure the smooth operation of the procurement process. If you're passionate about purchasing and have a strong eye for detail, then this role is perfect for you. This is a fully office based role in the Cookstown area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Competitive purchasing of all components and consumables
- Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
- Source from various suppliers and seek out high-quality products
- Ensuring items are purchased in line with supplier price list, that discount levels and quantity breaks are correct
- Tracking and tracing freight through the delivery process
- Define Cost Estimate for Spares and Production.
- Liaise with Design to ensure the creation of accurate manufacturing bills of materials (BOMs)
- Control, monitor, analyse and report cost related aspects of projects
- Liaise with the design team to ensure the correct specification of components are sourced.
- Handling after-sales service and support, including processing returns and resolving any issues with purchased products
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of Engineering or mechanical parts industry
- Minimum of three years’ purchasing experience in an engineering or related background.
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
On offer is a base salary of £32000 + Commission paid monthly, Early finish Friday, 30 days annual leave
