£27,000 - £30,000/annum Plus bonus

This growing supplier of licenced and well-known branded textiles, soft furnishings, clothing, and toys is seeking a Merchandise & Stock Planner to join their growing Merchandising team.  This fun, rewarding business who promote extensively from within and have a great social element to the business are seeking someone from an import/export/product/fmcg background, to join the merchandising team. You will work closely with the B2C customers. The role will involve: -

  • Very import biased, this role will be liaising with their UK and European factories as well as dealing with their online and Amazon customers
  • Managing orders and stock levels and forecasting
  • Ensuring that replenishment buys are recommended
  • Analyse stock coming in and out ensuring stock purchase proposals are approved
  • Working on their ERP system (Prima)
  • Work with suppliers to ensure they meet all delivery requirements
  • Create and progress purchase orders
  • Ensure all factory paperwork is correct to avoid delays
  • Work with the product team to plan all work and to avoid delays
  • Responsible for the correct instructions being given to factories for bespoke customers packaging/delivery requirements
  • Maintaining their ERP system (Prima) to enter new records
  • Using MS Excel to look at stock data, and to manage it

Experience required:

  • Stock planning, allocation and forecasting experience is essential
  • Experience within import/export/products/textiles/fashion background de
  • Experience of using an ERP system, for example Prima, SAP, or MS Navision
  • Confident user of Excel, including pivot tables
  • Able to get to Cheadle Hulme
