An exciting opportunity has emerged for a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join a rapidly growing and leading manufacturing organisation, with a permanent position based in Staverton, Cheltenham. This position is looking to offer £68,000.

This is an ideal role for an experienced procurement professional with a proven track record of managing teams and driving success in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Role responsibilities of the Procurement Manager include:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the procurement team to achieve key business results
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure business success
  • Develop, maintain and improve strategic supplier relationships with key suppliers
  • Realign supplier delivery schedules for customer demand
  • Manage negotiations with suppliers on prices, contracts and conditions
  • Identify potential areas of improvement and recommend solutions to drive improvement


Person Specification of the Procurement Manager:

  • Experience working in a procurement position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Several years of successful managerial experience
  • Demonstrable ability to motivate, influence and negotiate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suites
  • MCIPS/CIPS preferred


Salary

Up to £68k

This position is fully on site and offers no hybrid working
