As a Retail Sales Assistant

What you’ll be doing

Making the best impression we can to our customers is important. So as one of our Retail Sales Associate you’ll make sure our store is kept to a high standard. You’ll create a welcome that’s warm and inviting for our customers, to give them the best experience at our store. And as you walk them through our space, you’ll be confident in talking them through our brands and individual object stories. Every customer has needs that are unique to them, and you’ll be able to get to the heart of what those are and be able to offer the right selection of objects for themselves or the loved one they are gifting to.

Responsibilities

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

· Maintain outstanding store condition and upkeep set visual merchandising standards

· Maintain a fully stocked store

· Ascertain customers’ needs and wants

· Recommend and display items that match customer needs

· Welcome and greet customers

· Manage point-of-sale processes and online orders

· Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments and stock management

· Keep up to date with product information

· Accurately describe product features and benefits

· Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements and skills

· Proven working experience in retail sales

· Experience in using Shopify platform

· Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

· Proficiency in English

· Track record of over-achieving sales quota

· Solid communication and interpersonal skills

· Customer service focus

· Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

· Basic administration skills

Working hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm

A salary of £25-£30k depending on previous experience and commissions on sales.
