Part Time Customer Service Advisor

Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
Hours: Part time, Permanent | 16 – 24 hours per week
Salary: £11.44 per hour + bonus scheme

Our award-winning client is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their growing team!

You will work with clients from initial contact through to delivery, ensuring requirements are met and excellent customer service is provided at all times.

Please note, our client operates across 6 days a week (08:30 - 17:00), including Saturdays (09:00 – 17:00). You will be required to work every other Saturday.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor

  • Communicate with existing and new clients in person and over the phone.
  • Gather client requirements whilst establishing a good working relationship.
  • Respond to client enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work with clients from initial contact through to delivery.
  • Maintain client accounts, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Meet sales targets, contacting local businesses and domestic customers.
  • General administration duties including emailing, client correspondence, office administration, filing client records, accepting, and dealing with deliveries, stock taking, and store audits.
  • Ensure a clean working environment is maintained and operations are adhered to.

Key Skills of a Customer Service Advisor

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a customer focused role.
  • Previous experience in consultative sales or customer service is essential.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office.
  • Ability to provide excellent service and gather client requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Organised, efficient, and good timekeeping.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative.
