Assistant Store Manager | Retail | Up to £26,000 + generous bonus

Zachary Daniels has a brilliant opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager role with a highly successful retailer who are currently thriving and looking to develop new Store Managers from within. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Store Manager who will be on track to become a Store Manager in the business. As an Assistant Store Manager you will be ambitious, have a strong background in hospitality or related retail industries, want to develop and succeed.

As our clients new Assistant Store Manager, you will have the customer journey at the heart of everything you do, you will take pride in your store appearance and ensure the visuals are on appoint all day. Our client operates in a high stock environment so the ability to deliver service at pace is essential, alongside this you will be comfortable in an operationally heavy store.

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities:

• Have the ambition to become a high performing Store Manager
• Able to work in a fashion environment where the visuals are consistent
• Experience of managing a large operational store
• Background in fashion or clothing stores preferred
• Customer centric; ensure the team interact with customers at all times
• Make commercial decisions that benefit the store
• Drive the performance of the management staff
• Recruit, induct and train a team to focus on sales and adding value to the sales process
• Commercially aware and able to understand business performance and react to areas that are under performing

We want to recruit an Assistant Store Manager who is a credible presence in the store, will manage in the absence of a Store Manager but also be able to achieve targets and results as if you are the Manager.
