Our Wickford depot is our National hub and one of the biggest branches with an established trade customer base. This is a great move for an experienced Depot Manager/ Trade Sales Manager to join and lead the development of the trade counter and operations  with one of the leading names in the UPVC Building Plastics sector.

Depot Manager Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and potential customers, ensuring they get a fantastic customer service experience
• Managing the goods in/out of the hub and managing the transport schedules, in conjunction with the Head Office transport team
• Recruit, develop and lead your team
• A hands-on role you will answer queries, negotiate margins and ensure that the team provide accurate quotations and orders

Depot Manager Skills and Experience:

• Trade counter management experience gained within a trade supply environment
• A hands-on approach to branch operations
• Specific knowledge of uPVC windows & doors is highly advantageous
• First-class people skills - the ability to inspire and motivate your team, and to connect well with your trade customers
• A sale driver, commercial in approach with the hunger to grow the branch and achieve agreed business targets
