We are looking for an experienced florist on a part time basis – IMMEDIATE START

Working days : Monday to Sunday on a rolling 2 week rota 

Working hours : Up to 15 hours per week.

This is an exciting new initiative working within one of the UK's largest supermarkets.

Upon success of the initial 6 month trial the department is intended to be rolled out nationally providing many opportunities through this exciting project with clear career path options.

You will produce high quality hand tied bouquets from a vast selection of premium blooms, using floristry techniques and expert knowledge, to create and maintain great product presentation and department standards throughout.

Deliveries  of fresh flowers and plants arrive daily with a mix of single stems for bouquet construction also supermarket ready made bouquets and bunch flowers, the department is responsible for daily refill from the warehouse, stock control, conditioning & upkeep of  plants, both inside and out.  

You will be responsible for driving sales through value added products and specialised florist services and by providing advice and support to customers.

You will also help to build floristry skills throughout the department by sharing knowledge and floristry techniques.

The role is up to  20 hours per week, flexibility needed as this role will cover weekdays, weekends, days and evenings.
