To support our growing marketing share, we are now seeking a Media Buyer to join us in a home-based capacity, working one day per week from our Exeter or Bristol offices. 

Your Role 

As a Media Buyer, you will be supporting sales activity through sourcing digital media products and solutions that will enable us to post job adverts to a wide range of online resources such as job boards and social media. You will also source and allocate print media solutions when required. 

Regularly dealing with media contacts, you will build strong supplier relationships to facilitate favourable rates to drive down the cost of advertising media and ensure we can provide cost-efficient solutions to our clients.

Your role will cover media buying and planning, reporting and MI, maintaining our purchase order register and updating supplier records on Salesforce. Additionally, you will primarily be targeted on the timely delivery of media pricing and the margins you will create through effective negotiation.

About You

To be considered as our Media Buyer, here’s what you need:

- Experience in a purchasing and/or procurement role
- Experience of building cross-departmental relationships
- Confidence in communicating through electronic channels
- Competence in basic Excel functions including formulas, charts and conditional formatting
- The ability to prepare high-quality monthly and annual reports for management-level review

Knowledge of the digital recruitment advertising industry would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of using Salesforce.
