Systems Accountant - 12 month contract

The Company:

Brewster Partners are working with an exciting and fast-growing company based in Sheffield. We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to cover maternity leave on a 12-month contract. This company has expanded into new markets in recent years, and we are looking for someone to help support colleagues who are overseas as well as new departments which have recently been set up such as the ecommerce side of the business.

The Role:

• Assisting the Finance Manager with the Management Accounts
• Supporting with system improvement (SAP)
• Working to enhance, standardise or to transform current AP systems
• Managing the stock management systems
• Preparing the month end journals including accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Assisting with the production of monthly Sales Reports
• Maintaining the Creditor Accounts on SAP
• Assisting the Group Accountant in the preparation of rebate accruals
• Assisting in year-end reporting and the annual audit
• Working with the senior finance team on annual budgets

The Individual:

• QBE or qualified with relevant professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
• SAP experience would be advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Continuous improvement approach to processes & systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Enthusiastic approach to learning - committed to accuracy
