SF Recruitment are supporting a leading Housing company in recruiting for a Contracts Officer to join the team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

You will support on building supplier relationships and managing contracts effectively in line with the organisation's processes and policies.

Salary: £30,000 p.a. + Hybrid Working + Company Pension + Holiday.

The Role:

- As the Contracts Officer you will assist in the creation of the Contracts register and maintain the register to ensure accuracy.
- Provide information from the register to the Procurement team.
- Carry our diligence on suppliers and ensure any supply chain risk is identified.
- Collate supplier data in order to report on supplier activity and contract performance.
- Assist Contract Managers as needed in utilising information rom procurement systems to enable effective contract management.
- Act as a liaison across the organisation as well as the Procurement Team to ensure they are aware of current contract performance and spend vs. budget, lessons learned and that can be considered in future procurement activity.

The Candidate:

As the successful candidate for the Contracts Officer, you will have the following:

- Minimum of 18 Months experience within Procurement.
- Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
